The core idea is to let people have a detailed overview of their finances. Tracking big purchases is easy, but categorizing everyday grocery shopping is repetitive and time-consuming. A bank statement allows you to monitor the grand total of each purchase, however, it does not track the spending on individual items, making it hard to know for sure what the money is spent on.

Our solution is a service, which allows the retailer to add a scannable code to receipts. This code contains all the information found on the receipt in a machine-readable format. Furthermore, an app for scanning the code is offered to the end-user. Such an app enables customers to track how much they spend on certain products, brands or categories such as sweets.
