The Challenge

The problem is the complete blindness of customers when it comes to sustainable consumption. A lot of people would like to make sustainable and environmentally friendly shopping choices, but do not have enough information about the products. Due to their lack of transparency the wide selection of "bio" and "eco" labels is not helpful in that regard. Foodprint can help consumers who really want to make informed choices.

The Solution

Foodprint brings more awareness to consumers about the environmental impact of their groceries. Companies which care about their environmental impact get an opportunitiy to share their data and build trust and transparency among customers. This technology would foster a positive competition between companies to be more environmental friendly and implement more sustainable techniques/solutions.
