Currently, in big wave events, securing the safety of a surfer after a wipeout is a major concern. Difficulty to see through the whitewash and foggy conditions (in some cases). There's no device to track the location of such person in trouble, meaning that the human eye from the people around is the only solution. What if the person is still under water?, what if the current is so strong is wiped meters from where people thought it was?. Many surfers lost their lifes because of this, and due to climechange the conditions will become harder. On the other hand, tracking of the manuevers, wave size and force of impact will give information to the surfer and World Surf League about the wave/-s that had been surfed; improvement of manuevers and mistakes can be detected through this motion picture.
By using technology that already exists, the built-up of a device capacable of resisting the hazard conditions (high pressure/ high impact force under water), with a suitable software would give a solution for the safety faults, and improve the data analysis and recolection of information in competitions or trainings of high endurance surfers.
